Two words you never want to hear together...
"Root" and "canal." If you knew the extent of my dental phobia, you would understand why I am a little wigged right now. Anyone out there ever had a root canal? Are they as horrible and painful as I think they are?
I finished the second hat for Dulaan. This is the cloud pattern (pdf) from Ryan's website:
A pretty fun and quick knit. I used the mohair called for in the pattern (Katia Ingenua) and some random worsted blue yarn, both from stash.
This and the red/pink hat from the last post, along with a hat that I made for myself but made much too small, is the extent of my Dulaan knitting. I will be making up the fleece blankets soon (maybe tonight? The cats are locked in the bathrooms since my carpets are being cleaned. It may be a good opportunity to make up the blankets without kitty "help.") and then will package everything up and send it off.
Speaking of sending off...
I will be taking these to All About Yarn today as soon as the carpet guys are done. The wraps and tags are from Norma's Red Scarf blog.
Perhaps the trip to the yarn store will help my nerves settle down. Did I mention how I'm not starting Knit From Your Stash until February? I had a little accident with Stash for your Cash and another one with Blue Moon (who can resist G Rocks and January One? Plus G Rocks helps skin cancer. I'm doing a good thing by buying it!). Rather than flail myself, I decided to delay the start of KFYS. It will coincide nicely with Project Spectrum now. Therefore, I MEANT to do it.
